Local Morena deputy Tomás Montoya experienced a tense episode over the weekend due to a disagreement over the establishment of the local sectional committee 14 in Guadalupe. The first person, due to her connection to the aggrieved party and its supporters, is federal deputy Adriana Quiroz, who is close to the Arturo Benavides group. They would not accept that Montoya is imposing his will in Morena assemblies in the municipality. During the assembly where Montoya was affected, attendees refused to accept that the assembly was being held in the Nuevo León neighborhood, and they began to bring up his past in the PRI. «His companion brings people and tells them who to vote for. In Morena, we don't do it like that. This isn't the PRI... people come here with free will to exercise their vote,» said one angry attendee. Montoya Díaz requested calm among the attendees and assured them that «everyone is heard here» while the mood at the party meeting became unsustainable. Within Morena, this is common in various parts of the state, as the State Party CEN designates deputies to form committees in districts and areas that are not their responsibility. However, in addition to internal conflicts in García, there are no records of such conflicts in Guadalupe, the municipality with the largest voter roll for the 4T.
