Diego Saúl Reyna, a Mexican influencer originally from Chiapas and residing in Canada, has reported an assault he suffered during his visit to Guanajuato while he was in the municipality of San Felipe. The attackers accused him of marrying in Canada solely to obtain his residency papers. Diego Saúl has publicly shared the divorce process he is going through with his now ex-wife from Canada, which has led to accusations about his marriage being intended to secure his residency in Canada. He has even founded a company that manages residency procedures for people from Latin America.
In a video report, Diego showed the statement he presented to the Public Security Directorate in San Felipe, indicating that his ex-wife, through videos on social media, incites violence against him. The influencer preferred not to respond to the assault to avoid being labeled as the aggressor on social media. Diego Saúl Reyna became famous by posting a photograph on his social media during the U.S. presidential elections in which Donald Trump was participating; in the image, he placed a Mexican flag on the building where Trump worked as a laborer.
Later, he successfully established his own construction company in Canada and subsequently a management company. However, according to his statements, the divorce process he is currently undergoing has significantly reduced his income, making him primarily dependent on his earnings from social media.
Recently, Diego opened an office in the city of León, Guanajuato, as part of his management company aimed at those wishing to work in Canada. Through his videos, he shares tips on how to get a job in Canada, as well as details about the geographical, social, and cultural situation of that country.
