
The International Balloon Festival (FIG), one of the most important hot air balloon events internationally, will gather more than 200 balloons from 25 nations in León, turning the city into the epicenter of this unique event. Over four days, more than 400,000 visitors are expected to enjoy the majesty of 200 gigantic hot air balloons from more than 30 countries, creating an unforgettable spectacle of colors and generating an estimated economic spill of 800 million pesos.
FIG 2024, scheduled to take place from November 15 to 18 at the Metropolitan Park of León, will feature prominent international artists such as J. Balvin, Marshmello, Armin Van Buuren, and Julián Álvarez, making this festival an unparalleled cultural experience. Additionally, there will be a space dedicated to local artists to showcase their artistic projects, as well as a Zeppelin Show scheduled for November 13 as a prelude to the official start of the event.
This year's edition of the International Balloon Festival offers a varied culinary offering that will complement the musical and aerial spectacle, promising an experience for all the senses. The authorities of Guanajuato have highlighted the positive impact that this event has as an ambassador of Mexico in the world, showcasing the international relevance it has achieved.
Regarding the musical programming, the headline performances will be distributed as follows: J. Balvin on Friday, November 15; Marshmello and Armin Van Buuren on Saturday, November 16; and Julián Álvarez on Sunday, November 17. For those interested in attending, FIG 2024 offers five types of access with prices ranging from 335 pesos to three thousand 240 pesos, which may vary according to the sales phase they are in.
