If you want to enjoy a bike ride through the Historic Center of León but don't have your own bicycle, don't worry, as this Sunday, February 18, you can join the experience of Ruta León, a program that offers free bike rentals so you can enjoy a safe ride through the city from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Ruta León is a program that aims to promote physical activity and family interaction through a safe route around the city. Additionally, it provides the opportunity to enjoy breakfast at the restaurants on Madero Street. Since its launch in May 2022, Ruta León has seen the participation of over 147,000 people and has held 105 events to date, with the last event in December 2024, which had 2,532 attendees.
The Ruta León circuit extends 2.7 kilometers, starting at Prolongación Calzada, passing by the Arco de la Calzada, Madero Street, and ending at the Main Garden. In addition to bike rentals, participants can enjoy various activities such as mobility workshops, board games, Zumba classes, sports exhibitions, and more.
