Citizen Wednesday: Direct Access to Services

The Citizen Wednesday is an initiative that seeks to expedite attention and promote communication between the government and citizens. Over the years, this space has grown in scope, adding more services and allowing a greater number of people to access assistance without intermediaries. The main intention is to offer citizens an efficient option to manage their needs in a simple and timely manner, from documentation to advice on various topics.

Every Wednesday, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., the Municipal Presidency receives those who need to resolve doubts or carry out procedures directly. This program provides access to more than 294 procedures and services, with the participation of 30 municipal, state, and federal agencies, which reduces wait times and facilitates the search for solutions to community needs.

Since October 2021, 156 editions of Citizen Wednesday have been held, serving more than 235 thousand citizens. With the participation of 30 agencies and organizations, weekly assistance is provided to more than 2,000 people, offering a space where residents can carry out procedures without long lines or complicated processes. Each week, hundreds of citizens in León find answers to their procedures in one place: Citizen Wednesday.
