
The International Carnival of Mazatlán 2025 will have a budget of 62 million pesos, of which 15 million will come from the state government and the rest from the municipality. This event will take place from February 27 to March 4, and a production that meets expectations is anticipated, attracting both national and foreign visitors.
Among the confirmed artists for the Carnival are internationally renowned figures such as Plácido Domingo, Alejandro Sanz, Jorge Medina, and Josi Cuen, as well as La Adictiva and Grupo Firme, among others. This musical and cultural offering promises to make Mazatlán a benchmark for carnival celebrations.
The coronation of kings and queens will take place on different dates, with events such as the coronation of the King of Joy on February 27, the Queen of the Floral Games on February 28, and the Queen of the Carnival on March 1, in addition to other events such as the burning of Mal Humor, the burial of Juan Carnaval, and parades.
The parades will take place from the Fisherman Monument to Punto Valentino, along the Avenida del Mar. With a hotel occupancy of 90% already booked, Mazatlán is preparing for one of the most important celebrations in the country, where music, tradition, and tourism will merge into an unprecedented party.
Regarding security, the mayor of Mazatlán, Estrella Palacios Domínguez, has implemented an operation in collaboration with the three levels of government to ensure the safety of attendees. Despite concerns about insecurity, Sinaloa is getting ready to welcome thousands of tourists to the 127th edition of the International Carnival of Mazatlán 2025, an event expected to generate significant economic benefits.
It is estimated that more than 950 thousand people will attend the event, which will boost an economic spill of 614 million pesos at the state level and up to 900 million pesos at the municipal level. With an expanded budget of 62 million pesos, the Municipal Institute of Culture and Art of Mazatlán ensures that this celebration will be unforgettable.
