The 2025 edition of the Mazatlán International Carnival concluded with over 1.2 million attendees and a significant economic impact of 1,143 million pesos. This event reinforces the importance of tourism in the city.


Mazatlán International Carnival 2025: Resounding Success

The 2025 edition of the International Carnival of Mazatlán 'La Perla' was a complete success, attracting 1 million 231 thousand 725 attendees and generating an economic impact of 1 billion 143 million pesos. Additionally, hotel occupancy reached an impressive 86%, demonstrating its positive impact on the tourism and commercial sector of the port.

The carnival reaffirmed its importance as a tourist and cultural driver, attracting both national and international visitors who enjoyed an extensive program filled with shows, concerts, parades, and activities that celebrated Sinaloan identity.

One of the most notable activities of the carnival was the second parade, which managed to gather 515 thousand attendees, establishing itself as one of the most attended celebrations in the port. During the festive days, the arrival of tourists from various parts of Mexico, as well as from the United States and Canada, was reported.

In addition to positively impacting hotel occupancy with 14,035 registered rooms in hotels and 18,000 in vacation rental platforms, the carnival fostered a significant increase in the local economy, benefiting service providers in tourism, hotels, restaurants, transportation, tour operators, artisans, and merchants.

The International Carnival of Mazatlán 2025 was distinguished not only by leaving a positive legacy in terms of security but also by reflecting the confidence of visitors and the strength of the tourism sector, consolidating it as a key event for the economy and the promotion of the port.
