
The 2025 edition of the Mazatlán International Carnival 'La Perla' concluded with a total of 1,231,725 attendees and an economic spillover of 1.143 billion pesos. Hotel occupancy reached 86%, consolidating its positive impact on the tourism and commercial sector of the port.
The carnival reaffirmed its importance as a tourism and cultural engine, attracting both national and international visitors. The program offered shows, concerts, parades, and activities that celebrated the Sinaloan identity. These figures highlight Mazatlán's position as one of the most attractive destinations in the country, combining tradition, entertainment, and well-prepared tourism infrastructure.
One of the most notable events was the second carnival parade, which saw the presence of 515,000 attendees, establishing itself as one of the most attended celebrations in the port. During the festive days, there was a considerable influx of national tourists from various regions of Mexico, as well as from the United States and Canada.
The carnival not only had a significant impact on hotel occupancy, registering 14,035 rooms in hotels and 18,000 in vacation rental platforms, but also boosted the local economy, benefiting various sectors such as tourism service providers, hoteliers, restaurateurs, transporters, artisans, and merchants.
The 2025 edition of the Mazatlán International Carnival was characterized not only by having concluded without incidents but also by reflecting the confidence of visitors and the strength of the tourism sector, establishing itself as a fundamental event for the economy and promotion of the port.
