In Marina Mazatlán, Sinaloa, two boats caught fire, generating great interest on social media. On Monday afternoon, rescue and emergency teams quickly intervened to extinguish the flames, which were visible from several meters away. Firefighters from Mazatlán, Red Cross paramedics, and Civil Protection personnel arrived at the scene to control the situation and secure the area. Despite efforts, two yachts were consumed by the fire and a third was damaged.
No injuries or fatalities have been reported as a result of the fire so far. Authorities are already investigating to determine the cause of the fire and find those responsible. The rapid mobilization of emergency teams prevented further damage, although images of the incident have shocked the local population.
