The movie "Emilia Pérez" has been the subject of criticism from Mexican society due to how it addresses issues related to the trans community and organized crime. The Head of Government of Mexico City, Claudia Sheinbaum, announced that several reform initiatives will be presented in February, one of which will focus on energy issues that will entail changes for Pemex and the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE).

In other news, operations were recently carried out that resulted in the detention of 5 people in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, as well as the rescue of two individuals who had been deprived of their liberty. High-caliber firearms and tactical equipment have been seized. These actions are part of an ongoing effort to combat violence and crime in the country.

During the morning conference on Wednesday, January 29, President Sheinbaum is expected to detail the proposed reforms, including the possible involvement of the private sector in Pemex. The issue of the arrival of deported migrants from the United States will also be addressed, following rumors that the country had rejected the landing of flights with deportees.

Sheinbaum stated that her government is not in favor of censorship but promotes freedom of expression and the cultural diversity of Mexico. In relation to security, arrests have been made for crimes such as extortion and criminal association, as well as the detention of individuals related to acts of violence in different states.

Regarding the dismantling of a monitoring center linked to 'Los Chapitos' in Sinaloa, it was reported that this operation was part of a broader effort to combat organized crime in the region. On the other hand, the resignation of the Judicial Power Evaluation Committee was attributed to an order from the Electoral Tribunal.

In terms of security, Sheinbaum's government has achieved significant drug and weapon seizures and the dismantling of clandestine laboratories. Overall, there has been an increase in violence in some states of the country, leading to the implementation of various measures to address this issue.

President Sheinbaum's Security Cabinet continues to work together to address the challenges in security and justice in Mexico, seeking to ensure the well-being of the citizenry.
