The Energy Cluster of Nuevo León announced the consolidation of key committees and two strategic projects to strengthen the energy sector, promoting competitiveness and innovation in the region.

The General Director of the Energy Cluster of Nuevo León, Rivera Mata, highlighted that topics such as the grid code, energy efficiency, hydrocarbons, and electrical infrastructure will be priorities to address the critical challenges of the sector. To consolidate this strategy, four key committees have been established: human capital, productive chains, innovation and technology, and legal framework, each responsible for addressing specific needs and developing effective solutions adapted to the reality of the local industry.

Rivera Mata mentioned that this holistic approach will strengthen the capabilities of the energy sector in Nuevo León, promoting sustainable and competitive growth in line with global demands. Furthermore, during the assembly, two strategic projects were announced: the Energy Meeting, which seeks to position Nuevo León as a leader in innovation and leadership in the sector, and the Energy Network Program, designed to boost the local economy in the face of the nearshoring phenomenon, integrating local companies into global value chains.

Businessman César Cadena Cadena was confirmed for two more years at the helm of the Energy Cluster of Nuevo León, in collaboration with Eleazar Rivera Mata as general director. The establishment of a Board of Directors was approved, and the importance of establishing relationships with the Secretary of Energy was emphasized, given its new strategic role.

Cadena Cadena pointed out the priority of this direct relationship with SENER given its current structure and emphasized the importance of maintaining a close link with the committees and partners to optimize collaboration and continue strengthening the energy sector. During the meeting, the work plan for the year was presented, highlighting a collaborative approach with strategic alliances and specialized working groups to transform and strengthen the industrial ecosystem of the state.
