The Autonomous University of Nuevo León (UANL) has offered a series of recommendations to ensure an organized and successful start to the January-June 2025 semester. In total, 55 academic departments, including 29 high schools and 26 faculties, are returning to activity after the December holiday period.
Rector Santos Guzmán López will be present at the Cadereyta Campus to welcome students and faculty from the unit, which offers undergraduate programs from nine faculties. However, the return to the classrooms also brings chaos in the surroundings of Ciudad Universitaria, so it is important to review the routes in advance to arrive on time for classes.
Among the recommendations issued is the suggestion to use the designated pick-up and drop-off areas on campus to avoid stopping vehicle circulation. Students are also encouraged to share rides by organizing with friends or neighbors heading to the same destination in the same car.
Additionally, UANL has provided the schedules and routes of the Tigrebus, the transportation system that operates in Ciudad Universitaria. This service covers different areas, with specific schedules for each campus, such as Mederos, Agricultural Sciences, and Health Sciences.
Despite the cold, around 220,000 students are expected to return to classes this Monday at UANL. It is essential to follow these recommendations to ensure efficient transportation and timely arrival in the classrooms for this new semester.
