Easykid, also known as Joaquín Palacios, is one of the promises of the urban movement in Chile, who has explored various musical genres such as rap, punk, and reggaeton, always maintaining a unique style. After having success in his country, he is now preparing to perform for the first time at a major festival outside of Chile, specifically at the Festival Pa’l Norte in Mexico.
In an interview, Easykid expressed his excitement and nervousness about this opportunity to play on an international stage and gain new followers. He acknowledges it is a challenge as he doesn't know how many people really know him in Mexico, but he sees this experience as an opportunity to connect with a different audience and expand his music to other territories.
Regarding his experience in Mexico, Easykid mentioned that he has been to Mexico City and Monterrey before, but this will be the first time he performs at a Mexican festival of this magnitude. He highlighted the growth of his follower base in the country and is eager to share his music with the Mexican audience.
As for his new album, Easykid revealed that he is in the process of working on it and hopes that more people will join what he calls 'the cult.' Despite the demands and challenges of his career, Easykid is excited about the future and anxious to return to Mexico to connect with his fans. His musical style, which reflects his feelings and vision of life, is characterized by being authentic and full of emotions, which has earned him recognition from his audience.
