The Travel and Adventure Festival 2025 took place in Cintermex over a weekend, offering the people of Nuevo León a wide range of travel options presented by tourism promoters and representatives from different states of the country. However, a highlight of the event was the presentation of an inclusive ballet called 'Dancing with the Heart Frida Kahlo', starring girls with Down Syndrome, who captivated attendees with their dedication and passion.
A few days before World Down Syndrome Day, Javier del Valle Cantú, president of the civil association 'Dancing with the Heart', thanked the support of the festival organizers, as well as travel agencies and tour operators, for providing the dancers with the opportunity to express their art and demonstrate how dance and artistic expressions contribute to the personal development of people with different abilities.
Maricela Gómez Seeman, director of the VI Travel and Adventure Festival, praised the social work of the association 'Dancing with the Heart' and highlighted its goal of promoting inclusion through dance and music. The organization, dedicated to the rehabilitation and education through dance of people with disabilities, will receive 10% of the revenue generated at the festival as a donation.
Nuevo León positions itself as the fastest-growing tourist market in Mexico, and during the festival, tourism companies, promoters, specialized agencies, and governments from various regions of the country joined forces to attract the residents of Nuevo León with their destinations and tourist attractions. The Expo VI Travel and Adventure Festival 2025 featured several players from the tourism sector, surpassing 10,000 visitors, 30% more than the previous year.
In addition to the wide range of services at the exhibition stands, various activities were carried out, such as presentations on Iconic Parks of Nuevo León, Magical Towns of Aguascalientes and Zacatecas, interviews with tourism personalities, contests, and prizes. The estimated economic impact generated by the Expo and the Congress in the City is over 70 million pesos, thus consolidating an event that promotes synergy among exhibitors to offer attendees useful tools for planning their travels more effectively.
