Colombian singer Shakira is currently on tour in Mexico as part of her tour "Women Don't Cry Anymore". Recently, she performed concerts in Monterrey and Guadalajara, and on March 19 she will appear at the GNP Seguros Stadium in what will be the first of seven performances at that venue.
To get closer to her fans, Shakira has shared details of her workout routine on her social media before each show. The artist prepares physically and mentally to take the stage and entertain her audience with her hits, including her collaboration with Bizarrap and songs like 'Ciega, sordomuda'.
In one of the shared videos, Shakira is seen doing exercises with dumbbells and a bar, focusing on maintaining good physical condition rather than on building muscle. The singer explains that this routine complements the exercise she does during her shows, which she considers sufficient.
Before each concert, the artist makes sure to warm up adequately with stretches and follows a full-body routine that includes exercises such as deadlifts and hip thrusts. Deadlifts focus on activating various muscle groups and improving overall body strength, while hip thrusts target the glutes, helping to strengthen that specific muscle area.
In addition to the aforementioned exercises, Shakira includes others for the abdomen, arms, and stretches to ensure the necessary endurance for dancing and singing on stage. After completing her workout routine, the artist receives a massage to improve blood circulation and performs vocal exercises and facial massages to relax her muscles and prepare her voice before singing her songs.
Finally, the singer does her makeup, has her hair done with the help of a stylist, meditates for a few minutes, and takes time to interact with her fans before each show. Shakira describes her daily routine as a sequence of activities that ends around 2:30 AM after each concert. Maintaining a rigorous discipline, the artist ensures that she then rests for the necessary time and begins her preparation for the next performance.
