The incMTY Festival celebrated its opening yesterday with a record attendance of 15,000 participants, including entrepreneurs, executives, investors, government officials, and students. This event, in its twelfth edition, presents itself as a high-level forum expected to contribute to the economic development of Nuevo León. The state government, represented by Governor Samuel García, as well as the president of incMTY, Rogelio de los Santos, and the rectors of Tec de Monterrey and UANL, inaugurated Festival 2025.
The event continues today at Cintermex and Tec de Monterrey, including the 'Shero Zone,' a space dedicated to empowering women entrepreneurs. Highlighting the incMTY Accelerator program, which offers opportunities for pitches and meetings with investors, the festival aims to promote innovation, networking, and entrepreneurship as key instruments in the current economic landscape.
In another area, the UANL A.C. Foundation recently commemorated its 25th anniversary, highlighting its contribution to education and its transformative impact on society. Since its creation in 2000, the Foundation has raised over 500 million pesos and granted more than 50,000 scholarships. Serving as a link between students, companies, and the community, the UANL Foundation has been fundamental in the training of professionals in Nuevo León. During the celebration, former presidents, benefactors, and rectors who have been an essential part of this journey were recognized.
Among other activities at the festival, conferences and panels have been organized at various venues, such as the FEMSA Expedition building and Rectory, led by the Eugenio Garza Lagüera Entrepreneurship Institute. A 'Health Tech Summit' will also be held in collaboration with entities from the health sector. The integration between Mexico and the United States has also been a crucial topic, highlighted by collaboration agreements between Tec de Monterrey and UT Austin, in addition to the presence of international and national delegations interested in the ecosystem influenced by the festival.
Regarding capitalization announcements for emerging companies, investments in startups like Clivi, Nufi, WAS Company, eFactor Network, and Duppla are notable. AngelHub Ventures announced numerous investments in early-stage Latin American startups. The festival will also feature the participation of various speakers and leading companies at the 'Expo Future Now,' showcasing their capabilities and innovative technologies.
The incMTY Festival promises to provide a favorable environment to strengthen the entrepreneurial community, both national and international, and continue fostering innovation, investment, and high-impact entrepreneurship.
