Viaducto Morones Prieto: A Sustainable Solution

The Morones Prieto Viaduct aims to alleviate traffic in Monterrey, promoting sustainability and enhancing quality of life while preparing for upcoming global events.

A roadway was created with the aim of alleviating traffic and reducing travel times in the most congested city in the country, according to a study conducted by INRIX in 2022. This measure seeks to improve the quality of life in the metropolis in anticipation of global events such as the 2026 World Cup and responding to current needs.

In the midst of a competition for interest rates, the acquisition of 2.3 million customers in savings and investment products increased by 6.7 percent. Additionally, the placement of the portfolio from the institution specialized in the popular financial segment experienced an annual increase of 10 percent.

In Mexico, the labor participation of women reaches 45 percent compared to 74 percent of men, which impacts the economic development of the country. If female participation in the economy matched that of men, the GDP per capita would be 22 percent higher, according to the World Bank.

To promote gender equality in the workplace and improve conditions for women, the Mamá Godín Ranking was created. This evaluation has benefited nearly one million people in 450 Mexican companies over five years, achieving an increase in female participation and the presence of working mothers in the formal economy, as well as a reduction in staff turnover and absenteeism.

Despite efforts, the results of the evaluation in 2024 reflect that only one in ten formal jobs is held by a working mother. The founder and director of Mamá Godín, Aideé Zamorano, mentioned that the ranking evaluates organizations to analyze the relationship between motherhood and the exit of women from the formal economy.

With the purpose of recognizing gender equality and shared responsibilities in caregiving, the ranking evaluates aspects such as equitable pay, work-family balance, and economic participation of women in the workforce. Companies like 3M, Manpower, Unilever, and others have been highlighted for their efforts to create inclusive and equitable work environments.

Sofipo Libertad, led by Silvia Lavalle, reported growth in the first quarter of the year, with a delinquent portfolio coverage of 94 percent and a liquidity ratio of 37 percent. On the other hand, the Morones Prieto Viaduct is being built in Monterrey with the intention of improving mobility and reducing pollution in the city. This 17 km project incorporates long-term sustainability criteria and includes bike lanes, green areas, and smart monitoring to transform the city.
