
The Mexican company ARZYZ has decided to contribute to the reduction of plastic waste during the Formula 1 Mexico Grand Prix this Sunday by giving away aluminum cups to attendees for them to use for their drinks. This initiative is part of a campaign to promote sustainability and waste reduction.
In a statement on social media, the company called on the event attendees to join this campaign and highlighted that the aluminum cups they are handing out are reusable and recyclable. They encouraged people to use the cups consciously and to deposit them at designated recycling points.
ARZYZ, founded in 1980 in Monterrey, Nuevo León, is one of the most important companies in Mexico in the non-ferrous metals sector, particularly in the manufacturing of aluminum alloys and the marketing of primary metals. The current owner of the company is Mario Sergio Ramírez Zablah, who, along with his family, founded the company more than 40 years ago.
