In the recent edition of the Friendship Tournament, organized in different educational categories, the victories of the Himalaya International School of Monterrey stood out in the preschool, primary, and secondary categories, and of the Anáhuac México campus Cumbres in the high school category.
During the awards ceremony, held in the presence of Inés Sainz, the importance of unity through sports in today's society was emphasized. Inés Sainz stated: “Being part of this event honors me because sports unite us, and today we need more of that.”
Additionally, prominent figures such as Luis García and Gerardo Torrado highlighted the relevance of supporting the dreams of young people and teaching them to face challenges with confidence. Miguel Layún added: “In life and in sports, determination is key, and we must teach children to make decisions and face their consequences.”
In the coming days, the venue for the next edition of the Friendship Tournament will be announced. Blanca Benavides and Diego González, members of the organizing committee, emphasized the unity and joint effort that made the tournament possible.
The climax of the event came with the awarding of the cup to the delegations that best represented values such as camaraderie, respect, and perseverance. Father Benjamín Clariond, director of the event and various educational institutions, expressed his gratitude to all those involved in the tournament.
Finally, Elena Bustillos from the Semper Altius College Network and Anáhuac Prepa Network urged the community to show gratitude towards their families for the opportunity to participate in such a significant event.
