The last accident in the Monterrey Metro was recorded when a 15-year-old girl fell onto the tracks at the Santa Lucía Station, suffering head injuries. Although the precise causes of the incident are unknown, Civil Protection of Monterrey reported that the minor was attended to at the scene and subsequently transferred to the Regional Hospital for a specialized evaluation.

In another tragic event, last July, a man in his 30s lost his life after jumping onto the tracks at the Cuauhtémoc Station. The victim was not identified at that time, and when emergency teams arrived, unfortunately, he showed no vital signs.

An even more shocking case occurred in November 2023 when a father, identified as Cruz Mauricio Miros Fonseca, 31, attempted to take his own life along with his minor son, Mauricio Miros Temich, by jumping from high up on the platform at the FU Gómez Station of Line 3, falling from about 20 meters high.

These incidents add to others that previously occurred in the city's metro. On October 12, 2023, a blind young man lost his life at the San Bernabé Station of Line 1 when he was trapped by a train car after falling onto the viaduct as the train passed. Samuel Ornelas, an athlete and recent graduate, was the victim of this tragedy that shocked the community.
