Doubts about the alliance between PAN and PRI in Monterrey

In a recent meeting of federal deputies, the state leader of PAN in Nuevo León, Policarpo Flores, expressed his position on the alliance with the PRI and the government of Adrián de la Garza. He pointed out that if there is no willingness from the PRI, they see no reason to remain united. He emphasized the importance of reciprocity and mutual recognition in the coalition.

In his statements, Flores questioned the continuity of the alliance with the PRI and praised the strength and dedication of PAN in the civic sphere. He also mentioned that he rated the performance of the municipal government up to that point as a 5, making it clear that they are attentive to the representation the party can achieve under that administration to make decisions.

Jorge Romero, another prominent member of PAN, supported Flores in his comments and recalled the relevance of his party in Monterrey, where they achieved the highest number of votes. He highlighted the importance of building alliances that benefit the population and underscored PAN's commitment to its candidacies at all political levels.

Romero also criticized the management of Adrián de la Garza and advocated for a relationship based on reciprocity and mutual recognition, reiterating that the decision to maintain the coalition will depend on how the PRI values PAN's participation and respects the positions it requests. He emphasized that everything is contingent upon cooperation between both parties for the benefit of the citizenry.
