The mayor of Monterrey, Adrián de la Garza, called to put aside political differences after reaching an agreement in the local Congress to approve the 2025 Budget. De la Garza emphasized the importance of this step for the state and the city, pointing out that it could mark the beginning of a new stage of progress.

"We have the opportunity to advance in the approval of the budget by consensus, a fundamental step to move forward with projects for services, transportation, infrastructure, security, and the improvement of public spaces so urgently needed in all municipalities," the mayor expressed in a message posted on his social networks.

De la Garza urged all sectors to unite efforts to build a stronger, safer, and more prosperous Nuevo León, acknowledging the existing differences but placing the interest of the state above the disputes of recent times.

The mayor highlighted the importance of working together and making decisions with the well-being of the citizens in mind, stressing the need to continue advancing together.
