
The governor of Nuevo León, Rodríguez, emphasized the importance of seeking equality which not only involves combating violence but also ensuring development opportunities for all women. He stressed that working for everyone is working for the entire state.
For her part, Graciela Buchanan, Secretary of Women, highlighted that in the State Government it is a priority to work for women as a way to strengthen Nuevo León as a whole. She emphasized the creation of the Secretary of Women and the Office of the Defense of Women's Rights to promote women's rights and prevent violence against them.
Miriam Hinojosa Dieck, head of the State Institute for Women, stated that the campaign "For All, For Nuevo León" reflects the commitment of the new government of the entity to work in favor of women. She pointed out that it is a coordinated strategy that involves all government agencies.
The campaign aims to raise awareness and strengthen actions, programs, and public policies that promote women's rights and guarantee a life free of violence. Mariana Rodríguez, leading the campaign, mentioned that the Government is promoting actions from all bodies and secretariats to respond to the needs of women and girls in the entity.
To achieve a future where all women live with dignity and reach their goals, it is necessary to work together to guarantee their rights, security, and well-being. The preventive approach is fundamental to eradicating violence. The State Government promotes financing programs, training, free medical care, educational scholarships, among other supports. Additionally, safe cars have been implemented in public transport and comfortable and safe breastfeeding spaces throughout the State.
