Ex-TV Host Accuses Businesswoman of Creating Infamous 'Tía Paty' Page

Elsa Burgos, a former Televisa Monterrey host, has publicly accused businesswoman Laura Hyrma of creating the 'Tía Paty' page, which was used for defamation and extortion for years. Burgos claims Hyrma lied about her involvement and presents evidence, including her own admissions and information about her imprisonment.

Ex-TV Host Accuses Businesswoman of Creating Infamous 'Tía Paty' Page

The “Tía Paty” case continues to make headlines, and now Elsa Burgos, a former driver for Televisa Monterrey, has named and identified the presumed creator of this page, from which extortions and scams were carried out. In a statement shared on her social networks, Burgos revealed that an interior design businesswoman identified as Laura Hyrma is responsible for this social media profile. She pointed out that the businesswoman is the original founder of the profile that defamed various public figures for years. Burgos' public statement came in response to a recent interview that Judith Grace conducted with Laura Hyrma on her YouTube show. Visibly affected and upset, the former host described her ex-friend's statements as a “lack of respect of universal size” and decided to break her silence. “It was you and you know it, Laura…! You were the one who opened that fing account!”, Burgos exclaimed in the video. She asserted that the identity behind “Tía Paty” was never a secret to those involved in the industry. Denial and Threats During the week, Laura Hyrma was invited to the “Al estilo de Judith Grace” show, where she categorically denied being “Tía Paty”. During her appearance, the businesswoman claimed to be a victim of threats, as many people began to point to her as responsible for the defamations. However, Burgos's statements directly contradict this version. “You told me to my face that it wasn't you.” Burgos recounted that in the past, she had already confronted Laura Hyrma because of their friendship, especially when the page viciously attacked figures like Silvia Landeros, who was also a television host. Burgos remembered that her then-friend lied to her directly. “I asked you point-blank because you were my friend… and you told me no to my face. You told me no to my face!”, Burgos stated, who also recalled the personal attacks she and her family suffered from the account, including serious defamations against her and her husband. Loss of Control and Legal Issues One of the most striking points in Burgos's statement is that the presumed creator of “Tía Paty” allegedly lost control of the page after facing legal issues that led her to prison. “You had two complaints, one for defamation and another for the theft you committed against a lady… When they put you in the slammer, you dropped the account and didn't even know to whom you gave it”, Burgos detailed. “Tía Paty” then fell into the hands of a group of people who did not know each other, operating through platforms like WhatsApp or Telegram. This was the moment, Burgos added, when the creator went from being a “perpetrator to a victim”. Burgos affirmed that her accusation is not unfounded and that there is official documentation to support it. “You know there is a file and you know there is a statement and you know you did four years”, the former host expressed, in a clear call to Laura Hyrma to stop lying and take responsibility for the damage caused to the lives of many people. “What happened to you, Laura, was just a spoonful of your own fing chocolate that you created yourself”.
