In the monthly meeting led by Susana Narváez, president of the Central Council, and Juan Pablo García Garza, General Director of Caintra, key projects for the 2026 World Cup were discussed. A special secretariat will be established to position the brand "Monterrey" as a host, focusing on ensuring that the infrastructure is ready on time, including the creation of green corridors as an essential part of the plan.

Regarding mobility, plans are envisioned for the short, medium, and long term, with the implementation of road works to reduce vehicular congestion in Monterrey. Additionally, a municipal and free public transport service is planned for the city's residents.

In terms of security, the start of recruitment of police elements and the renewal of the police corporation's image was announced.
