Sergio Ramos Joins Monterrey in Unexpected Move

Sergio Ramos, former captain of Real Madrid and the Spanish national team, responded to the refusal of European clubs to sign him with a contract, taking an unprecedented step and transferring to the Mexican club Monterrey, to continue his passion for football and keep playing, despite being 38 years old. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano stated: "The transfer of Sergio Ramos to Monterrey is complete... The player has signed a preliminary contract today and is ready to travel to Mexico to finalize the official procedures... After the transfer to Sevilla, Ramos will play in the Mexican league, joining Monterrey on a free transfer."

It should be noted that Ramos, who did not play for any club since leaving Sevilla last summer, tried to return to Real Madrid or join a European team, but was unable to do so, so he decided to return to the Mexican league.
