The 2024 Apertura tournament of the Liga MX Femenil is reaching its final stage, with the definition of the semifinal matchups. In one bracket, Rayadas will face Pachuca, while in the other, Monterrey will meet Pachuca.
The semifinals will begin on Thursday, November 14, with the first match between Rayadas and Pachuca to be held at the Estadio Ciudad de los Deportes at 9:00 PM. The second leg is scheduled for Sunday, November 17, at the Estadio Universitario at 7:06 PM.
Rayadas qualified for the semifinals after crushing Pumas in the quarterfinals, winning the second match 7-1 after a scoreless draw in the first. Meanwhile, Pachuca had to work hard to overcome Toluca and advance to this stage of the tournament.
In the other bracket, Tigres will face América. Tigres arrives after defeating Juárez in the quarterfinals, while América maintained its dominance over Chivas in the knockout stage.
These semifinals are the same as those played in the Clausura 2024, where América and Monterrey reached the final, with Monterrey crowned as champions. The semifinal matches promise excitement and a high level of competition on the way to the Liga MX Femenil title.
