The Auditorium of the Reforma, located in the area of the Forts of Loreto and Guadalupe in Puebla, has undergone a renovation with an investment of 36 million pesos. Inaugurated in 1962 to commemorate the centenary of the Battle of Puebla, the auditorium is known for its acoustic dome design and its 24 wooden arches that support the copper structure, designed by architect Abraham Zabludovsky.
Considered a cultural and architectural heritage of the city, the auditorium was previously restored during the government of Rafael Moreno Valle Rosas with an investment of 38 million pesos. However, this restoration did not last even 10 years, leading to a new renovation in 2024. After being closed for two years due to structural damages, the venue was reopened in October of that same year by then-governor Sergio Céspedes Peregrina.
The current governor, Alejandro Armenta Mier, plans to present the report of the first 100 days of his administration in this recently renovated Auditorium of the Reforma. While details of the guest agenda are still being finalized, the message is expected to take place between March 24 and March 31.
