The director of the National Lottery, Olivia Salomón Vibaldo, announced that Puebla will host one of the special draws of the institution, with the next one scheduled for May 5th. During her visit to the Puebla capital to promote the special draw 297, which commemorates the 90th anniversary of the Acapulco cliff, Salomón Vibaldo expressed that she has held meetings with the state governor, Alejandro Armenta Mier, to coordinate the event.

For his part, the mayor of Puebla thanked the selection of Angelópolis as the venue to present the commemorative ticket for the 90 years of the Acapulco cliff, highlighting the brotherhood between both cities. Additionally, there will be collaboration with other departments to determine in which cities these draws will take place, with the intention that one of the commemorative draws will be held outside the capital of the country each month.

The director emphasized the importance of bringing this draw to Puebla, as an emblematic city, thanking the support provided during adverse times. She explained that the National Lottery organizes 144 draws a year, distributed across three weekly draws: Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday, and that the next commemorative ticket will be for February 5th, as every year, to remember the historic battle.

Salomón Vibaldo assured that Acapulco is a national emblem and this draw will strengthen the ties between both destinations. The Acapulco mayor present at the event noted that this draw represents a light for the recovery of the Guerrero port after the damages caused by a hurricane. Due to the complexity of logistics, the planning is done in advance to make the corresponding announcements.
