Renovation and Security Enhancements at Puebla Park

In the city of Puebla, significant rehabilitation and improvement actions have been carried out in the Ecological Park, a green space of 54 hectares located in the Azcárrate neighborhood, which is considered one of the main lungs of the city. These actions aim to provide more than 100 thousand monthly visitors with a safer and more pleasant environment for recreational and sports enjoyment.

Improvements made include the rehabilitation of the hexagonal fountain in the civic square, the installation of a dancing fountain in the park's lake, upgrades to the water park, renovation of restrooms and tennis courts, modernization of the semi-Olympic pool, installation of calisthenics exercise modules, expansion and covering of the outdoor theater, and reinforcement of security in public spaces.

Governor Sergio Céspedes Peregrina highlighted that, like in other public spaces such as the Art Park and the Museum Complex of Constancia, a closed circuit video surveillance system will be implemented to ensure the safety of visitors. This comprehensive strategy is part of his government's commitment to continue recovering public spaces for citizens' enjoyment and improving their quality of life.

The total investment in the rehabilitation of the Ecological Park was 650 million pesos, focusing on the recovery of the semi-Olympic pool, the installation of a zip line, the expansion of the outdoor theater, the placement of solar lights, and surveillance cameras connected to the C5. These actions aim to enhance enjoyment of the city's green and recreational areas, strengthening safety and the quality of services for citizens.
