Susyl, a former student of the Autonomous Popular University of the State of Puebla (UPAEP), has reported her ex-partner, Alan N., whom she accuses of having exercised physical and emotional violence against her. In a post on her Instagram account, Susyl detailed her experience of mistreatment, describing an environment of physical and psychological violence during their relationship, which caused her feelings of fear, shame, and confusion, making her believe for a long time that the situation was her fault.

The young woman shared images of bruises on her body and injuries to her nose as evidence of the assaults suffered, including a photograph showing her in a clinic. She decided to make her story public through social media, which led to widespread dissemination and prompted the university to comment on the case.

In response to the complaint, UPAEP issued a statement on March 3, informing that Alan N., a student of agronomic engineering, had requested to withdraw from the institution. It was also revealed that the Integrity System, an internal tracking mechanism for such situations, had been activated.

Although the university will remain attentive to the evolution of the case, it emphasized that the resolution must occur through the appropriate judicial instances, urging to file the complaint with the State Attorney's Office.
