Violent confrontation in Puebla leaves six detained

On Thursday, November 14, a confrontation occurred between criminals and elements of the municipal police in the auxiliary board of San Felipe Hueyotlipan, north of the city of Puebla. The incident was triggered when several individuals attempted to steal a truck and escaped aboard three vehicles, sparking a chase through the main streets of the city.

Authorities managed to locate one of the vehicles involved, which was secured on the Mexico-Puebla highway, near the area known as Stanley. However, the other criminals managed to flee in the other two vehicles used in the robbery. The pursuit culminated at the intersection of Carmen Serdán Boulevard, where agents from the Puebla Citizen Security Secretariat intercepted the suspects.

During the arrest, the criminals opened fire on the police, triggering an armed confrontation. Despite the violence, security agents managed to detain six people: four men and two women. The identity of the detainees has not yet been revealed, but it is expected that the Puebla Citizen Security Secretariat will provide more details about the case in the coming hours.

On the other hand, it has been announced that the Puebla prosecutor's office will initiate an investigation to clarify the events and determine the circumstances behind the robbery and the shooting. Following their arrest, the criminals were transferred in a patrol car to the new municipal security complex in the Rancho Colorado area.
