The government of Querétaro has implemented eight social programs aimed at various sectors of the population in order to meet specific needs in areas such as food, education, support for children, women, seniors, and agricultural producers. These programs were designed after a technical study identified the most needy sectors in the region.
As part of this strategy, beneficiaries will be contacted directly by accredited representatives of the state government for their registration and subsequent delivery of the Tarjeta Contigo, which will allow them to access support. The announced programs are detailed below:
"Contigo y tu Bebé" provides support to children in their first thousand days of life through the delivery of fortified foods and hygiene products for their mothers.
"Contigo en tu Mesa" provides bi-monthly food baskets to families in vulnerable situations, ensuring access to nutritious products.
"Jóvenes Contigo" offers financial support to students so they can continue their studies and academic projects.
The "Club de Adultos Mayores" provides spaces with attention to nutrition, health, inclusion, and recreation for this sector of the population.
"Mujeres Contigo" enhances the Tarjeta Contigo with additional financial support for women who support their families.
"Contigo Papá" is a program aimed at working parents with specific benefits for their economic development.
"Cosechando Contigo" is intended for agricultural producers, providing economic incentives to improve their living and operational conditions.
"Madres Trabajadoras" creates safe and adequate spaces for the children of working mothers to learn, socialize, and receive nutrition while they fulfill their work schedules.
These programs are in addition to other existing initiatives in the state, such as the "Tarifa Unidos de Qrobus," the USEBEQ supplies and uniforms program, and various supports operated by agencies such as the State DIF, SEDESOQ, SEDESU, and SEDEA.
