
The Electoral Organization, Prerogatives and Political Parties Commission of the Electoral Institute of the State of Querétaro presented a projection of funding for political parties, estimating that for the year 2025 they would receive a total of 139 million 128 thousand 383 pesos, which represents an increase of 7.03% compared to the previous year.
In the year 2024, during the electoral process, a pool of 129 million 981 thousand 433 pesos was approved, while in 2023 the amount was 115 million 829 thousand 555 pesos and in 2022, a non-electoral year, it was 105 million 778 thousand 100 pesos.
Within the proposed distribution, it is estimated that Morena would receive 30.4%, equivalent to 42 million 349 thousand 108 pesos and 74 cents, and the National Action Party 32.4%, that is, 45 million 154 thousand 291 pesos and 70 cents, being the ones that would receive the most funds, together representing 62.89%. They are followed by the PRI with 14 million 339 thousand 914 pesos and 04 cents, PVEM with 13 million 690 thousand 945 pesos and 07 cents, Ciudadano Movement with 13 million 208 thousand 648 pesos and 25 cents, and the Labor Party with 10 million 385 thousand 475 pesos and 84 cents.
Karla Isabel Olvera Moreno, president of the Commission, highlighted that this projection of public funding requires the approval of the General Council, but it is made public to clarify the criteria and procedures used. On the other hand, Diana Jazmín Sánchez Martínez, coordinator of Prerogatives and Political Parties, explained that parties with at least 3% of valid votes in the last election for deputies have the right to receive local public funding, which must be allocated to purposes and activities established in the regulations.
The session also detailed that the funding is distributed 70% equally and 30% proportionally to the votes obtained.
