The municipal government of Querétaro has carried out the rehabilitation of the "La Peña CTM" park in the Félix Osores delegation, with an investment close to 2.5 million pesos. This renovation has involved the intervention of 2,400 square meters, the creation of a jogging track, and the restoration of the central cement walkway.

During the official delivery of the works, Mayor Felipe Fernando Macías emphasized that this new infrastructure will help improve the urban image of the area and promote both community interaction and sports activities among local families. He also stated that the park will become a space dedicated to families, children, teenagers, and the community in general.

Improvements made include the installation of playground equipment with shock-absorbing surfaces, the placement of exercise machines, a canopy to protect from the sun, as well as the planting of 40 new trees. Additionally, lighting, benches, and a dog shelter have been integrated into the park.

The mayor highlighted the importance of maintaining public spaces in optimal conditions, as he believes that a dignified and well-maintained environment can act as a barrier against crime, vices, and other negative aspects that may affect the community. In this regard, the rehabilitation of "La Peña CTM" seeks to offer residents a safe, healthy, and conducive environment for recreation and family interaction.
