The Morena party rejected having any type of interference in the decisions of its local deputies and on the contrary stated that the pause of the local Congress and lack of agreements is due to the PAN's insistence on maintaining control, emphasized Alejandro Pérez Ibarra, general secretary of the State Executive Committee.
"That is why an electoral process was held, and they do not accept that they have lost the majority in Congress, that is the issue and we cannot yield because today our fellow deputies have a popular mandate and must respond to the interests of this popular mandate," Pérez Ibarra pointed out.
The general secretary denied the accusations of pressure towards the Political Coordination Board and accused Guillermo Vega Guerrero, president of the Board, of paralyzing the LXI local Legislature by not installing the Political Coordination Board, where agreements are signed and legislative work is defined.
Pérez Ibarra asserted: "They do not want to lose control of the legislature. They do not want to accept their reality." He added that if the formation of commissions is put to a vote, he trusts the support of the two legislators from the Green Party, but warned that if they decide not to support, it will be the citizens and history who judge them.
Regarding the resignation from the bench of deputy Ulises Gómez de la Rosa, he pointed out that they will respect his decision and highlighted his commitment to the Fourth Transformation project. He confirmed Luisa María Alcalde's visit to the state to hold a meeting with the party members, expecting at least a thousand people to attend.
In the assembly with president Luisa María Alcalde, general secretary Carolina Rangel, and Andrés Manuel López Beltrán, they expect to gather observations and needs from the party members to strengthen the internal work of the party. Additionally, a decalogue with the principles of the Fourth Transformation directed at public servants will be announced. The call is for Thursday, October 24, at the Villagrán hall at 5 PM.
