The Institute of Sports and Recreation of the State of Querétaro (INDEREQ), in collaboration with the Querétaro Association of Associated Wrestling, has completed the selection of athletes who will have the honor of representing the state in the Macroregional stage of the CONADE Nationals 2025. This phase is crucial as it determines who will qualify for the final national competition, gathering outstanding sports talents from the country and providing a platform to foster the development of future high-performance athletes.

The competition included various categories ranging from children to youth, including styles such as freestyle, Greco-Roman, and women's. After intense combat sessions that lasted nearly five hours, a total of 87 athletes excelled and have been chosen to represent Querétaro in the Macroregional stage. Among them, 23 will compete in freestyle, 30 in Greco-Roman, and 34 in women's.

The goal set by the Querétaro team is to surpass the remarkable results achieved in the CONADE Nationals 2024, where the state won a total of 33 medals, distributed as 11 gold, 5 silver, and 17 bronze. These achievements positioned Querétaro in third place nationwide in this discipline, highlighting the commitment and talent of its wrestlers.

It is worth noting that the CONADE Nationals represent the main multi-sport event in Mexico at the youth level, organized by the prestigious National Commission for Physical Culture and Sports (CONADE). In this edition, the participation of 118 athletes, composed of 48 women and 70 men, adds excitement and competitiveness to an anticipated event that will give rise to new stories of effort and dedication in the national sports arena.
