Querétaro Launches Interactive Photo Booths for Tourists

The municipality of Querétaro plans to launch the campaign "My red thread brought me to Querétaro" with the installation of 14 interactive photo booths in the 7 delegations, to promote romantic tourism throughout February. Of these booths, 8 will be located in the Historic Center and the remaining ones will be distributed in the other delegations.

The Secretary of Tourism of the capital, Mariana Ortiz, expressed that the objective is to attract more people to get to know Querétaro, highlighting that the city is a meeting point and a place that captivates its visitors. According to Ortiz, Querétaro is recognized as a place where people meet and some fall in love.

In these booths, visitors will have the opportunity to interact by writing their names on a red ribbon to "show off their love story." The selected locations for the booths include iconic places such as the Aqueduct Viewpoint, Alameda Hidalgo, Plaza Constitución, Santa Clara Garden, Guerrero Garden, and the Locks Bridge, where tourists can capture photographic memories and explore the most representative sites of the city.

Additionally, the booths will feature QR codes that will provide access to videos of the campaign, as well as a catalog with recommendations for restaurants and places of interest. As a complement to this initiative, it was reported that the state government will install special lighting in the Historic Center, specifically on the walkways of Libertad, Carranza, 5 de Mayo, and 16 de Septiembre, along with three monumental figures shaped like hearts in the heart of the city.
