17th Foreign Communities Festival Announced

The municipality of Querétaro announced the seventeenth edition of the Foreign Communities Festival 2025, which will take place from October 9 to 12 at the Bicentennial Park. The Secretary of Tourism, Mariana Ortiz, explained that the changes were made to provide a better atmosphere and a more family-friendly space for visitors.

The call for foreign residents interested in being exhibitors will be available from March 3 to 18. Once the deadline has passed, the proposals will be analyzed, and on April 28 the winners of the food and crafts stands will be announced. Last year, representatives from 62 countries and 5 continents participated, and more than 50,000 visitors attended the event.

Mariana Ortiz commented: "It is a very important festival for us, the most relevant for the Secretary of Tourism. I believe that we already live in such a diverse environment that it is important to build community, to get to know all the people and representatives we have, and above all to create an identity in the municipality."

Those interested can submit their documentation via email, through the municipal website, or at the Secretary's offices. The event aims to provide a glimpse into different countries of the world through their cuisine, crafts, and traditional products.

Traditionally, the festival was held during the summer at the Querétaro Convention Center, but this year it will be moved to the Bicentennial Park.
