The municipal government of Querétaro announced a new cultural festival called 'Creadoras', which will take place from March 21 to 23 in three venues in the Historic Center. This event will feature the participation of prominent artists such as Buika and María Barracuda, who will be the special guests.

In the framework of Women's Month, the mayor of the capital, Felipe Fernando Macías, pointed out that the festival will offer activities and strategies aimed at promoting and strengthening public policies in favor of women. The intention is to provide spaces for expression for women artists from Querétaro, national and international, encompassing exhibitions of music, painting, dance, and theater, among other artistic manifestations.

An estimated attendance of about 15,000 people is expected during the three days of the festival. Since March 6, the Ministry of Culture has begun its activities as part of Women's Month, presenting exhibitions, workshops, cinema, theater, discussions, conferences, book presentations, music, dance, and the M100 gallery in the area of the Alameda Hidalgo.

Both Buika and María Barracuda will give their respective performances at the Alameda Hidalgo. Buika will hold a discussion and a musical performance at 6 PM, while María Barracuda will provide a concert at the same venue and date at 9 PM.

Culture Secretary Daniela Salgado stated that the festival will feature 253 artists participating in 31 activities spread across three venues: Alameda Hidalgo, the 'Dr. Víctor Gómez Pin' Cultural House, and the City Theater. The intention is to create a diverse space that fosters artistic expression and family coexistence in an environment of peace and prosperity.
