Soccer is more than just a game; it is joy, dedication, passion, and belonging. It also involves training, commitment, identity, family, and friendship. Mini Gallos, an affiliate of the Querétaro Club, represents a serious project that brings together more than a hundred children to practice soccer with the colors of the local team.

This week, the 2016 category of Mini Gallos is traveling to Chihuahua to participate in the Apple Cup, competing against teams from all over the country. Beyond the results they obtain in the tournament, the experience of competing is invaluable for these 8 or 9-year-old children, as it provides them the opportunity to strengthen their connection to their school, team, and city.

Family is a fundamental concept that should prevail in all aspects of our beloved sport, whether at home, school, academies, on the fields, or in the stadiums. Mini Gallos heads to their competition with their uniforms on and bags full of hopes, in what will surely be a sensational experience.

In every city, the local soccer team, regardless of the division they play in, acts as a rallying point for support and as a platform for society to express different aspects of its feelings. In Querétaro, soccer in all its forms should start from families, thus consolidating local unity and belonging.

May success and a good journey accompany Mini Gallos on this trip, and may they return with valuable lessons and unforgettable memories.
