The Municipality of Querétaro and the Municipal Sports Institute have officially presented the shirt and medal that will be awarded at the "Querétaro Women's Half Marathon 2025". Approximately 7,000 women are expected to participate in this event, which is positioned as one of the most important in the female athletic field in the region.
The registration fee is $650 MXN and can be purchased online through the official website. The kit distribution will take place on the Wednesday before the race. Additionally, the event will be Pet Friendly, allowing runners to participate with their pets.
The Querétaro Women's Half Marathon has been held annually since 2018 with the aim of empowering women through sports and commemorating International Women's Day. Over the years, its participation and relevance in the Querétaro entity have increased. The event is scheduled for March 23 and aims to celebrate and promote female participation in sports.
This marathon will feature three distances: 5 km, 10 km, and 21 km, designed for participants of different levels, from beginners to advanced. In the words of the organizers: "The event is an excellent opportunity for women to join in the celebration of sports and demonstrate their strength and endurance in this sporting competition."
