TAR Airlines Introduces New Routes for Business Growth

The Mexican airline TAR has celebrated its eleventh anniversary by launching two new direct flights from Querétaro International Airport (AIQ). These new routes will connect Querétaro with San Luis Potosí and Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA).

TAR's commercial director, Ángel García, revealed that the connection to San Luis Potosí will have a frequency from Monday to Friday, except for Tuesday, while the flight to AIFA will operate three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. García highlighted that with these new routes, the airline aims to meet the demand for business trade in the Bajío region.

In his statements, Ángel García emphasized: “With the new routes, we reaffirm our commitment to being a bridge that boosts regional development, allowing more people to reach their destinations more easily and quickly.” He also underscored that this expansion is a reflection of TAR's evolution, focusing on optimizing operations, improving passengers' flight experience, and establishing itself as a leading regional airline.

The two new routes have been operational since the end of February, using Embraer ERJ-145 aircraft with a capacity of 50 passengers. Additionally, García noted that these direct flights add to the four already established at AIQ to Torreón, Mazatlán, and Hermosillo, generating around 4,000 passengers per month. It is estimated that initially, the new flights will have an average occupancy of 60%.

Emphasizing the airline's mission, García added: “Our mission has always been to bring people, businesses, and tourism closer with efficient, comfortable, and accessible air solutions.”
