He also reaffirmed his confidence in the state's future, stating: “Things will go well in Querétaro.”
The event, which brought together prominent business and legal leaders, included the unveiling of a commemorative plaque symbolizing a decade of significant contributions to the development of Querétaro. Mauricio Kuri also recognized the work of the Santamarina and Steta firm, which, with 77 years of national experience and a decade in Querétaro, has consolidated its leadership with a vision that combines legal excellence and commitment to the business community.
“The only difference between one firm and another is the people, the commitment that the people have, and this firm has one that is raising the bar very high,” Kuri stated. For his part, José Ramón Ayala Aguirre, founding partner of the Querétaro office, recalled the challenges and achievements accomplished in these ten years: “For us, it represents great satisfaction to have been able to contribute to the development of Querétaro and promote all the good news and everything that is happening here, encouraging both national and foreign investment.”
During the event, the importance of lawyers as key players in the application of justice was emphasized, an essential component to guarantee social stability and economic development. Mauricio Kuri conveyed optimism to legal professionals and reaffirmed Querétaro's leadership in justice and development. “Although the entity has experienced complicated days due to recent episodes of violence, it cannot define us for what is to come,” the governor assured.
On this anniversary, not only the past is celebrated, but a promising future for Querétaro and Mexico is projected. According to Kuri, Santamarina and Steta, with 77 years of experience, aim to continue being the best law firm in the country: “It has 77 years, and they need to aim for another 77 years being the best law firm in the country.”
