In the historic center of Querétaro, a silent march for peace took place this Saturday, called by the families of the victims of the recent attack on the bar Los Cantaritos, in which 10 people died. The event was attended by members of civil society and began at Alameda Hidalgo, concluding in front of the mentioned bar. During the march, participants wore scarves with the phrase "We want peace" and walked in silence as a tribute to the deceased and a call for justice. This symbolic act was also a collective demand for peace and justice for Querétaro, a city shaken by such a tragic and unprecedented event. The mobilization was described as an urgent call to stop the violence and to recover the tranquility that used to characterize Querétaro. Many of those present expressed their surprise at the unimaginable tragedy that struck the region, leaving a strong impact on the population. At the end of the march, a minute of silence in front of the bar Los Cantaritos served as an emotional gesture of remembrance for the victims, reaffirming the desire for justice and a safe environment in the city.
