Morena Reinforces Ethical Guidelines in Querétaro

The Secretary General of Morena in Querétaro, Alejandro Pérez Ibarra, highlighted the importance of restoring the mystique of the party during the celebration of the new internal regulations approved by the National Council.

Pérez Ibarra emphasized that it is essential to avoid past practices, such as the use of public and private resources to promote political figures, as well as massive advertising through billboards.

The approved document focuses on three main pillars: republican austerity, a vocation for service, and the fight against nepotism. Personal promotion through any type of resources is prohibited, and the importance of transparency and political renewal is emphasized.

Additionally, it was agreed to eliminate nepotism, influence peddling, sectarianism, and consecutive re-election in 2027. A call was made to respect electoral times and prioritize closeness with citizens through actions such as neighborhood-by-neighborhood affiliation.

It was established that in January 2026, the route for selecting candidates to lead the party's project in the 2027 elections will be outlined. Pérez Ibarra reiterated the importance of loyalty to the party's fundamental principles and the need to thoroughly understand the recently approved regulations.
