Martín Arango, the next president of the National Action Party (PAN) in Querétaro, is preparing to face the challenges that will arise in the 2027 elections. Despite these challenges, Arango remains optimistic and determined about the future of the party in the state, with the clear goal of conquering the governorship, the 18 municipal presidencies, as well as all local and federal districts, stating with determination that "they won't even see our dust."
Arango highlights the strength of the PAN in key municipalities such as Querétaro, Corregidora, El Marqués, and San Juan del Río, remaining as the main political force in the region. He emphasizes the quality of PAN candidates, who he believes stand out for their work ethic and understanding of the needs of the population, which has allowed Querétaro to maintain a standard of living above the national average, focusing on transparency and job creation.
The politician underlines the importance of the federal government's passenger train project Mexico-Querétaro, and plans to mobilize party members to reach every corner of the state and convey the message of PAN's achievements in Querétaro. Arango acknowledges that the state government will play a crucial role in the project's success.
In an exclusive interview, Arango praised Governor Mauricio Kuri's decisions, citing the renovation of Paseo 5 de Febrero as an example of brave leadership that prioritizes citizens' well-being over political costs. Additionally, Arango criticized Morena for irregularities in the past elections, accusing the party of diverting public funds to buy votes through social programs such as pensions for the elderly and support for youth, labeling these actions as illegal and immoral.
The future PAN leader recognizes that the train project will bring significant economic benefits to the state, including job creation and economic growth, but also warns that it can become a double-edged sword in the upcoming elections.
