The local Congress has formally started the review and approval of the value tables for the municipalities, thus marking the beginning of the processes for the review of revenue laws and the state's fiscal package. Gerardo Ángeles Herrera has indicated that the deadline for approving the tables is September 15, while November 30 is the deadline for submitting the state budget.

In this context, a cooperation agreement has been signed with the Superior Audit Entity of the State (ESFE) to provide technical and financial support for the 2025 Fiscal Package of the municipalities of Querétaro and with the Cadastre. Next week, work will begin with the 18 municipalities, with the aim of holding a public session to hear ideas related to the value tables.

According to Gerardo Ángeles Herrera, meetings have already started with the State Finance Secretariat to analyze the financial information that will be part of the 2025 budget project. The deadline for delivering the fiscal package is November 30, and from then on, the corresponding analysis will begin.

In 2024, the state budget was 61 billion 821 million 252 thousand 203 pesos, distributed across various areas such as transfers to state-owned entities, programmable works and actions, transfers to municipalities, dependencies of the central sector, and auxiliary bodies, among others. Regarding the budget of the Legislative Power, Ángeles Herrera pointed out that the Political Coordination Board is responsible for its preparation, without specific details at the moment.
