The governor of Querétaro, Mauricio Kuri, acknowledged that there is a strong dispute over the theft of hydrocarbons at the borders with San Juan del Río that needs to be addressed. He referred to the violent situation caused by criminal groups from other states that come to the region. The Attorney General's Office of the State of Querétaro has initiated several lines of investigation regarding the lethal attack at the bar Los Cantaritos, where 10 people were killed and 13 were injured.

Kuri González supported the measures implemented by metropolitan municipalities to regulate the sale of alcohol, mentioning that places like bars, rehabilitation centers, and even tire repair shops are vulnerable to the presence of criminals. He called for patience from citizens in light of the difficult national security situation and emphasized the importance of the integrity of the inhabitants of Querétaro.

According to information from the Ministry of Government, 5 of the 13 injured from the attack have been discharged, while the others remain hospitalized but out of danger. Governor Mauricio Kuri, after meeting with the Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection, Omar García Harfuch, announced agreements like the sharing of information about wanted persons.

Kuri mentioned that he remains in contact with the families of the victims to provide support and assured close collaboration with federal authorities to follow up on the case. He stated that they would not rest until they capture those responsible for the attack, attributing it to a confrontation between criminal groups from other states.
