In Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico, the Collective Love for the Disappeared in Tamaulipas and the State Public Security Secretariat discovered a clandestine grave of approximately 30 square meters. In the site, human skeletal remains with thermal exposure were found scattered throughout the inspected area.
Among the objects found in the grave are human remains with thermal exposure, clothing items such as shoes, a belt buckle, buttons, and lighters, as well as a 'sharpening steel' (weapon or steel blade) and ballistic objects.
The collective reported: 'In the finding, human skeletal remains with thermal exposure were identified in an area of approximately 30 square meters, in which the remains are scattered throughout the site.' They also shared photographs of the material found in the alleged extermination field.
In light of this discovery, the Collective called on relatives of missing persons to approach a public prosecutor's agent and request information about the remains found.
The discovery of this clandestine grave in Reynosa adds to other cases, such as the one found in the Izaguirre Ranch in Teuchitlán, Jalisco. The Collective Love for the Disappeared in Tamaulipas continues with its work of searching for missing persons and denouncing these serious events through their social media and official Facebook page.
